Rainya Thorn, "The Wolf of Midnight" Queen of Thornwald, 3rd Hegemon of the realm.
The Green Dream is the synecdoche that denotes the special druidic trance powers accessible by Thornwald's Kings. When the Bear Kings/ Queens enters this state they are able to see through the eyes of various fawns of the wild and (when imbibed with strong potions) provide potent powers of rejuvenation and bestial prowess upon the ruler awaking from such slumber.

Rainya Thorn~ Not since the days of Tomyris was there a Thornwald Queen as formidable and menacing to the Heldanian political order. Graceful, studious, and abound with insatiable ambition, the dynamic Queen of Thorn would remake the order of the realm with her discerning acumen and strong hands and then make herself the 3rd great Hegemon of the realm. With a silken mane of hair as dark as the night and constantly wrapped in mink furs marked with gilded stripes, Rainya strikes an imposing figure- especially when under the glows of wisp lights, where unseen dancing and living tattoos swam on her.

Having been one of the rare Thornwald rulers to grown up well and not through intrigue and fratricide/ parricide, her early reign in her adolescence was extremely unremarkable. For 3 years the newly enthroned queen indulged in hedonistic excess and long spells inside the Green Dream. She even forbade ministers from restraining her from these fierce pleasures. That is, until one day a loyal courtier approached her and spoke of a curious riddle of a magnificent rare bird that has an exquisite plumage that wounds hearts and an incomparable singing voice, but the rare bird had inexplicably not taken flight in 3 years, he then posed the question to the queen and asked her why this bird choose to act so. Delighted by this witty maneuver, the young Rainya then responded that she was merely waiting and studying her self until she found the proper partner-in-crime to invite her out of this idyll. After this day, the previously indolent teenage queen became an attentive sovereign and convened court daily with her ministers, she also became a voracious reader and sorceress. She is frequently depicted draped in an oversized mink robe marked by golden bestial stripes and holds a long thyrsus staff.

Her control of the Heldanian world was such that the rivals of Thornwald spoke of her reign with the words: "After her, there was only left a single breath."
